I’ve never had an alterations done. What is the process like?
We recommend you make an appointment which typically lasts 10-20 minutes. If you are needing something hemmed, please bring the shoes you will wear with the garment most frequently. If you are needing sizing adjustments, wear the undergarments you will wear with the garment. We have a dressing room you can get changed in and are happy to help you if you need assistance getting into the garment. We then mark and/ or pin where the adjustments need to be made, ask your name and phone number, and give you an estimate (which is indeed an estimate!) of what the alteration will cost. We call you when the alteration is completed and you pay when you pick up by cash, card, or check.
How long will it take for my alterations to be completed?
This will vary greatly on the time of year, but we typically can get your garments back to you in two to three weeks.
How much do alterations/ repairs cost?
We get asked this question a lot, and the answer will almost always be the same; we have to see it! Please look at our Alterations tab to get an idea of what your alteration will cost but know that it may be more or less depending on the fabric, decorative stitching, layers, etc….
Do I have to make an appointment?

Do you have a minimum service fee?
Yes, we have a $10 minimum. So if you just need a button sewn on, consider finding something else you might need repaired as well!
Something isn’t quite right with my alteration. What should I do?
It is incredibly important to us that you are happy with your alteration! If a seam comes out or something isn’t fitting the way you want it to, please bring it back and we will fix the alteration free of charge. We ask that you do this within 30 days but understand that this time frames isn’t always possible with busy schedules. We appreciate your business and want you to be thrilled with your alteration!
What forms of payment do you accept?
We prefer cash and check and also accept all debit and credit cards.
